New Assassin’s Creed This November

Gameinformer is doing their thing by getting the exclusive on a new game. They’ve revealed that Assassin’s Creed Revelations is the next game in the series as it star on their newest cover.

Altair, Ezio, and Desmond will star in it although Altair’s and Desmond’s roles are unknown. Ezio, however, will be set in Constantinople during the Ottoman Empire.

Answers are promised and expectations are high. Hopefully they will deliver.

While I have a deep love for the series, I can’t help but feel a bit disappointed in Ubisoft. For one, getting annualized franchises isn’t a good thing. Something isn’t special if you get it all the time as evidenced by Guitar Hero and what is going to happen to Call of Duty. I’m sure it’ll be a great game, but a year or two off would have been needed.
I do love Ezio as a character but this will be his 3rd game. The joy of the series was to see different time periods with different ancestors. Returning to Ezio seems a tad lazy as there are plenty of time periods ripe to pick from.

Head on over to Gameinformer for the full scoop, better yet, pick up the magazine when it comes out.

oooh. this has to be awesome or i will be severely be disapointed. but i agree Ezio again is a pretty dumb idea , he would have to be really old by now. and in november? how could they possibly make it in time?

    • I don’t know if Ezio is a dumb idea but it’s not creative. When this series first came out, they made it seen like different time periods for each game. That would have been so cool

Yeah if you look at the picture, and the say it too, Ezio is like 50 or older.
They have literally hundreds of people working on it. There are 4 different studios cranking this one out. That’s why they come out so fast.

how would he be able to fight like he used to in 2 and brotherhood if hes 50 or older. how does altair come into this?

  2. I was thinking that too. I doubt he will beat people with his old man cane 😛
He will have to still be agile to remain a viable playable character, you’d just have to suspend your belief that he is an old man 😛

They haven’t confirmed how Altair comes into this but I bet it is something where you need to find something as Ezio, so you relive what Altair did back 300 years before.
I really hope they give him another wrist blade. It will be so weird going back to 1.

what? desmond reliving ezio and ezio reliving altair, thats just weird. Ha i loaded up AC1 the other day and kept using the wrist blade-failed miserably. i hope altair has a wider range of weapons, moves and emotions. if altair does have more weapons and emotions he could truly be my favourite assassino 🙂 out of the two

    • The whole thing has yet to be confirmed, I just think you’ll need to play as Altair to unlock certain things for Ezio and Desmond. Ezio is sort of aware of Desmond’s presence so he’ll probably know.
They need to update Altair in every way. It’s basically a no-brainer that they’ll add the newer stuff like air assassinations and ledge pull downs. I also hope they give him a better personality. He was so boring and serious in AC1. Ezio, on the other hand, is a great interesting character.

yeah but u got to admit altairs look was pretty cool. i hope the brotherhood comes back, one of my favourite things about brotherhood was that u can have like 6 or so master assassins aiding who in combat-now that was cool. i think i might play hrough AC2 and ACB next school holidays. not one that was just bad

Yeah Altair was very badass looking for sure but didn’t have a personality. I bet similar mechanics will return and be improved upon. I didn’t use them much at all, but it was cool for chases and stuff.
You should play those games again. Definitely amazing and worth playing again. I would go back but I have so many games to play.
